Dunkelvolk is a Peruvian company focused on adventurous and free-spirited lifestyles related to surfing, actions sports, and rollerblading. In the 80s, tournament wins gained attention throughout the country. As a result, surfing culture grew to include fans and enthusiasts. They created this brand because at that point in time a Peruvian-based athletic wear brand did not yet exist.
The brand values living in the moment by embracing adventure and action. But it's not just a branding slogan. The company executives live and breath this approach to life, and are driven to inspire and support others to do the same.
Customer
The typical customer prefers casual streetwear that reflect their affiliation with these lifestyles sports. To add to the authenticity of the brand, the people featured in the campaign were actual athletes and graffiti artists.
They had many storefronts in Lima and other Peruvian cities, and wanted to scale their business to become a global distributor. Doing so would impact ever level of the company, including marketing, advertising, digital and customer services, as well as brand development. To do so, it was necessary to embrace new and consistent strategies.
