Giant Corn (Yellow Chili and Quinoa)
The picture above shows a rebranding packaging example for Nina Muru’s delicious Giant Peruvian Corn Snacks. The giant corn in Peru is only grown in Cuzco, high in the Andes. It has been cultivated there for centuries. This product is non-GMO, gluten-free, trans fat-free, and high in iron and fibre. This dish is spiced with Peruvian yellow chili and Andean quinoa
My challenge was to make the packaging look like a Peruvian product that is delicious, colorful, and vibrant. After focusing on Peruvian iconography, I began to create the patterns inspired by pre-Incan designs around the main name using bright, contrasting colors.
This packaging combines Peruvian tradition with friendly design to create a fun and engaging package.
